i don't get the feeling of an army behind him because of the obviously isolated and ineccessable area. nor does there seem to by someplace that he can charge into battle. since he's standing at the edge of a cliff. instead of a precurser to a battle scene, this seems like one lone warrior shouting defiance and the promise of future battle. the birds far off in the distance are a nice touch to the despair and isolation. the coloring of the armor is well done.
